Spreading across almost 3 acres, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is directly located within the side of Cheyenne Mountain. MLA Engineering provided full structural engineering services throughout the construction for the new Rocky Mountain Wild Exhibit which included a steel-framed fire tower, elevated boardwalk, bear and otter viewing, moose holding shelter, a life-support building, and pole-building event center, along with other site and exhibit features.
