Position Overview

We are seeking a Structural Engineer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team. This role offers opportunities for advancement into leadership positions for individuals with the right skills and drive.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structures in concrete, steel, masonry, and wood framing.

• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Utilize structural analysis software and BIM tools for project execution.

• Prepare technical reports and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis from an ABET-accredited program. Master’s degree preferred.

• 3+ years of experience in a structural engineering consulting environment.

• Licensure: EIT required for candidates with 3–5 years of experience; PE or SE preferred for candidates with 5+ years of experience.

• Proficiency in REVIT and structural software such as RISA, ETABS, SAP2000.

• Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.

• Authorized to work in the United States.

Position Overview

We are seeking a REVIT Technician who has experience working with either structural or architectural projects for a minimum of 2 years to join our team. The position can start as part-time and grow to full-time along with MLA’s expanding firm and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 3-D Revit models up to LOD 300 that can be used to produce a set of accurate and well-coordinated structural drawings.

• Work collaboratively with engineers and BIM team members to produce accurate, high-quality, drawings and meet client deadlines.

• Conform to current company Revit/CAD standards and assist in developing, and implementing, new standards to meet industry best practices.

• Continue to develop professional skills through training, mentorship and increasing levels of responsibility.

Qualifications

• Education in BIM Design Technology, Engineering or Architecture.

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience using Revit in the A/E industry (structural preferred).

• Strong understanding of construction materials and ability to interpret drawings with accuracy.

• Ability to understand and convey engineering markups, sketches and directions.

• Proficient at creating and using custom Revit structure and annotation families, as well as schedules to enhance productivity.

• Experienced at linking Architect’s Revit models using positioning procedures established by client.

• Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.

• Authorized to work in the United States.
