Fort Lewis Barracks

This project was a new design for a 200,000 SF three-story barracks and is one building of the new Brigade Complex. Design resistance against progressive collapse and blast loading were critical criteria that were met. MLA Engineering provided structural engineering design, contract documents, and services during construction for this new design-build structure.

MLA was able to meet the rigid design-build schedule, provided a cost-effective structure, and meet special blast-resistant and collapse-prevention design criteria.
