The Houston Zoo’s Wombat Exhibit and Insectarium allows visitors a rare opportunity to experience Australian Wombats up close and put them face-to-antennae with a diverse array of amazing and colorful insects including Rainbow Stag Beetles, Peruvian Walking Sticks, and a Goliath Tarantula. This new dual exhibit is located at the entry of the children’s zoo, welcoming visitors of all ages.
